Typewritten letter on Boosey & Hawkes letterhead (Regent Street, London) to Mann, Park Lane, London. Andrewes mentions that the Britten concerto was performed in Poland by Newton Wood in 1947 but probably has not been played in Russia. A corrected proof of the Shostakovich concerto ('Op 101' added in manuscript) will be forwarded to Joyce. A manuscript PS discusses a Third Programme radio broadcast of this work.
